Miniature of electric locomotive U23C, "MRS", in scale 1:87 - HO.
Approximate length: 22 cm.
In 1972, the first units of a total of 170 locomotives were produced, being divided into two lots. The first batch had 80 locomotives weighing 180 tons. The second batch had a total of 90 locomotives, the first 20 of which weighed 165 tons. They were imported from GE-USA and were located in Cachoeira Paulista (SP), that's why they started to be called "Cachoeirinhas". The U23C were also present on the Vera Cruz (BH-RJ) and Santa Cruz (SP-RJ) trains.
